We have built a comprehensive outreach and engagement programme targeting rural tertiary and secondary school students to actively encourage them to consider careers in rural health. Rural school visits, wilderness weekends, noho marae and visits to outstanding rural practices, hospitals and Māori health providers are some of the key activities we are involved with.
